Company History

1981 Establishment of “Nihonichi Co., Ltd.”
1985 Opens broiled eel takeout specialized store “Nihonichi” in Tobu Department Store Funabashi.
1989 Opens delicatessen “Nihonichi” that specialized in eel, yakitori and side dishes in Noda Shopping Center Noa.
2002 Sapporo Branch opens. Achieves 100 stores nationally.
2007 Nagoya Branch opens.
2008 Achieves annual turnover of 10 billion Yen and 200 stores nationally.
2009 Establishment of Nihonichi Food Co., Ltd. (Ninohe-shi, Iwate) as a yakitori skewing factory.
2013 Establishment of Nihonichi Holdings Co., Ltd.
2016 Establishment of distribution center “Nihonichi Logistics”.
2017 Establishment of Nihonichi Singapore Pte Ltd as a subsidiary company in Singapore.
2018 Establishment of Nihonichi Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd as a company in Thailand.
2021 Establishment of Thailand Chicken Processing Plant in Saraburi Province, Thailand.
